Project Objective: Qatif Central Hospital wast built in 1985. According to Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) hospital is very old therefore it needs to be renovated with all electrical and mechanical system with architectural items.
Project Information: Owner of the project is Ministry of Health and consultant is Specialist Company for Consulting Engineering. Main Hospital Building land on around 8900 m2.The project includes main hospital building with some architectural finishing items as doors, flooring, ceiling, walls, paints, etc. and renovation of some electrical and mechanical systems. Tender Cost 66,718,479 SAR, project duration is 24 month after handover the site. Site handover to Femco-Yuksel Concortium on 31th of March 2014 that means 30th of March 2016 project duration will be completed. The project will be executed at 4 areas as per the New Scope in Main Hospital Building. The new scope covers Basement, 1st Floor, 2nd Floor & Roof of Main Hospital. The works will be executed in 3 steps. Step 1 starts with full area of roof & half of basement at the same time. Step 2 starts with 50% of the area of 1st & 2nd floor and second half of basement. Step 3 is for the remaining 50% of 1st & 2nd Floor Area after 2nd step handover.
Work Starting Date: Roof handing over of roof at 27 July 2014 Basement Zone-1 handing over at September 28,2014 Full handover basement Zone-2 (Mechanical Room) on January 07, 2016 for Civil, Electrical and Mechanical. Handover of Zone-1 at first & second Floor was on May 30, 2016.
Work Scope: Hospital / Ministry Administration required to renovate only in Main Hopsital Building for Basement, 1st Floor, 2nd Floor and Roof.
